Do Nems respond to moonlights?

Like the subject states, do Nems respond to moonlights?

I just added moonlights two nights ago. Before the moonlights the GBTA would suck himself in during the night hours but would but fully extended and great color during the day.

Since I put the moonlights in his tenticals seem to stay out a little to where they can be seen around the edges of the rock.... The GBTA has his foot up under a shelf rock so if he sucks in he can't be seen at all.

I hope this becomes a habit for him since my favorite time to look at my tank is under moonlight. I can't wait till my clown/s are big enough to host / sleep in the Nem =)

I could be mistaken but i believe moonlights are just for our pleasure. I dont think they serve any purpose to the livestock in the tank, unlike actinics.

moonlight serves a huge purpose for our tanks

not real sure about anems, but i like to think of it as a nice segway into nighttime, not such a shock to everything at night
