do pods really eat zoas?

I lost 30 or so rpe's, but thats all. They didn't touch my eagle eyes or dragon eyes. Maybe they would have if the rpe's were not still available.

My Golden wrasse hasn't touched my scarlet or fire shrimp.
He's only three inches long though so he may be a gamble. I'd rather loose a couple shrimp versus my zoo's though.

That looks like your ave. looking ampipod that I have all over my pods... ave size of 1/2-3/4 of a cm.

I have a 6line and mandarin working on them right now and just added a fairywrasse to the ampipod ( DEATHDEALER ) team.

hey guys.......i saw on blue planet (weds. @9 on animal planet)the other night that there are deep water amphipods that are indeed predators and that some even grow as large as 5 to 6 inches....( no kidding!!!!!) they looked like our common ones only 20 times larger and they were eating soft corals and tube worms(feather dusters, and coco worms)

now i know some poeple would kill to have my pod population but it's not worth loosing all my beautiful zoa's.
just a little bit of info .......keep up the good fight.....al

There so much out there (CREATURES )that we as humans don't really know about certain creatures that SOME of us already think we know about them.. BUT REALLY DON'T.
