Do You All Dose Calcium?

It seems like a lot of people add Calcium to their tanks, but I've never added any sort of Calcium additive.

Is that odd?

My Calcium fluctuates between 480-520, never gone higher or lower with my API Tester.
I've got a ton of Coralline, and the KH is consistently around 8.

I do about an 18% Water change every 2 weeks I guess.
I guess I'm kind of curious as to what makes the calcium go down, that there's so many calcium products out there.

CA is used up by corals and coralline algae. I you have alot of sps, lps you'll see it start going down. I add about 10 oz a week of BRS CA mix.

You are steadily replacing calcium in your tank through your frequent water changes, and you indicated that coralline algae being the only consumer of it (ie: tag says fish and softies). For those with corals of the stony variety adding calcium is usually a requirement.
