Hi All:

Just saw the pic that Mikeeal (sp?) posted. Very nice!

We are currently in the middle of a 235g build. Tank's in, equipment *close* to being purchased and we are trying to picture how we want our rock. (Our dimensions are 63"x36"x24").

Any designs you love that you'd care to pass along?

Thanks!

btw...love this forum.

Thanks, tcoral. I tried to check them out earlier at work but the pictures didn't display for some reason.

Great tanks! We wanted to attend but couldn't. Will look forward to the next time and will strive to build a tank that is 'Tank Tour' worthy!

Hi & thanks Kevin...

I've read great things about you and MARS... will look forward to meeting you at the next MARS meeting!

Here's a picture of mine.

I wanted lots of room to swim for my Tangs so I created some vertical pillars. Then so I could have some horizontal real estate for corals, I placed some long flat rocks on top of them. I'm fairly pleased with the result.

Do yourself a favor though before you put all the rock in...drill some small holes all over your rocks for pegging. Later when you start getting a bunch of new corals on frag plugs you can add pegs to them and move the corals freely wherever you want in the tank. I'm wishing I would have done that myself and now I regret it. Now that I have everything in it will be much more difficult to pull it all out and drill.

Thanks Kimberly!!!

Here's a couple, T5 actinics:

I've taken some rock out, mostly from the left side. This is all marcorock with a few pieces from another tank to seed. I made the arc from the two longest pieces in the order, and used some two-part epoxy.

Thanks for the kind words.
