allright, I'll admit it! I don't see the connection between the Toro and the lawnmower blenny!

Uh yeah, I don't name my fish either..... I just watch football and um, drink beer... yeah.....
You probably don't have kids, do you. Neither do I, but I have nieces and nephews and have worked with alot of "family tanks". I'm also past that stage where I think I have to act like a tough guy.
Opinions are opinions, but negative ones aren't necessary. Great names everybody. Another sub for Toro could be Murray. I'll try to get lovereefs1 to post. They name ALL of their fish.

Some of the other lawn mower name brands are:
Snapper, Briggs and Straton (if you have 2) Tecumesch and Ariens.
You know desdeej, it probably is silly to name our fish, but it doesn't stop me from doing it. Sometimes this hobby is enough to make us pull out our hair when things are going wrong (which seems too often). Or when things are going great (not often enough) we forget to enjoy it. Life is too short and if you don't feed your inner child you're going to end up with a grouchy F*#T on the outside and we've all seen enough of them to know what I'm talking about.
I have to laugh out loud at some of the names: Naked clowns-Nit and Wit and a coral beauty named Skittles and I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read about Toro or I would have had soda shooting out my nose..heck, even without pictures I can almost see them...and if a smile can lengthen your life by even one hour, the smiles I've had from reading this has added at least two weeks to my life. So thanks for sharing and I hope I hear more....
and if you don't like it, I'll just sic King Farouk (very large peacock mantis shrimp) on ya...

My wife and I name our critters. Not always showing much imagination but we do name them.
We did have two lawnmower blennies that we lost to carpet surfing. They were Toro and Snapper.
Common black sea cucumber- Mr. Poopy
Yellow Tang- Old Yeller'
Pajama Cardinal- P.J.
Spotted Mandrin- Spot
Coral Beauty angel- Mr. Purple
Fox Face Rabbitfish- Hendrix III
Sailfin Tang-as yet un-named.
