Do you see bugs in this pic?

Hello everyone,

I'm getting ready to take this frag out of my QT system and put it into my main display. Do you think those spots are red bugs? I personally don't think so because they look too small and they don't have the shape of redbugs. I think I'm being a little overly hyper cautious but I wanted to make sure.

Yeah, I don't think they are redbugs. I think they're just spots. Here's a more blown up pic:

Good point. I'll take another pic in a couple of hours and see if the spots are in the same place.

Red bugs move and you can usually blow some of them off with a baster. If there is no movement and you cant blow them off then they probably are not red bugs.

That's what I thought too. My macro lens is much more powerful than son's magnifier. Many thanks!!!

+1 on magnifying glass. I currently have them and can see them move around when looking through the magnifying glass

Ive heard of and seen tiny black bugs affecting sps. My experience was with an acropora Aculeus. I believe I remember reading a member spotting them as well

Well I took another picture again today and the spots didn't move so it looks like they're just spots on the skin.

I don't see any.

How long has it been in your QT? If it been in there for 3+ weeks they would have multiplied enough by now that you would be seeing plenty of them.
