Do you think this guy will survive?

I picked up a sort of sickly looking trumpet coral.... It really has potential IMO, so I gave it a shot.

What do you think?

The two live ones look a bit bleached, but should be salvagable. They are going to need a LOT of TLC, though!
Good luck,

Sincerely,
Matthew

I think the pic makes it look more bleached than it actually is... its kind of a neon yellowish color... the pic makes it look white almost...

Hopefully it comes around.

Just an update on this trumpet.

There are 4 heads total. The largest two heads seem to be taking on a pinkish color. I thought for a long time that it was coraline algae, but the heads seem to be inflating during the day. The weird thing is that the other two heads are still very whitish, light yellow color. Either way, they seem to be on the mend. :D

Thanks man! It took almost a month, but this guy is finally coming around! Can't wait till it gets a bit bigger to see what it's really gonna look like. :D

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'll definitely keep updating its progress with pics. Candy cane and trumpet corals are one of my favorites!

Definitely getting there.
I have had mine for years. They are one of my most prolific coral and I now have several colonies. When the polyps are doing good they can expand to almost half dollar size!

Nice ones! Mine used to expand large like that, but as I've added more flow they stay a bit smaller.
