If so, how do you keep the food from heading down the overflow? I realize there are rectangular 'feeding stations' that float on the surface, but do they work well? Or is there a better option?
I use an Ehiem autofeeder and sinking pellets (NLS)...lose very little over the O/F. When I used flakes, I used the floating ring, no issues other than it's unsightliness.
I think feeding by hand is one of the more fun things to do.....I think it is cool that my fish swim over to great me everytime I go near the tank. Kinda like Pavlov's dog.
