Phosphates are shooting down!


everything else is stable




Jarrett bought this Sp Gr reader now of course I have to get one!


Cleaned out the Lagoon, and took some shots at the Snowflake eel Jarrett left me.








Cleaned the Laggon glass too


the Clams are doing well too!

Wow, it's been only about 20 days since you've had the biopellet reactor up, and it's halved your phosphates.

Have you done anything else differently?
Reduce feedings? Did you test before/after a water change?

That's pretty neat.


Most of what I read on biopellets is about the primary reduction of nitrates.
Have you monitored those parameters?

Thanks, I haven't done anything more or different other than be as consistent as possible with my water changes. Dosing is steady as well with diy Ca, Alk, and Mg. Feeding 4 times daily (big fish like to eat)

I usually test between water changes (Sundays) either Monday's Fridays or Saturdays.

I read they reduce both, but I can test more sensitively the phosphates.
