Does any one have a dwarf angel...

that they know is nipping at zoo's and polyps that they would like to find a new home and food source for?

I would like to erradicate a bunch of polyps in my tank and the rock that they are on is to large and has to many of my beloved stony corals encrusted to it.

I have heard from others that some pick on their zoo's. Does your potters nip at polyps? If so, what do you want for him? Cash, frags?

Isnt it like a regal tang that you need?

It is my understanding that the regal (blue) tang is more hit or miss with chewing on polyps. That is why I am looking for a known polyp muncher.

Larger Angels are known to eat zoos. Dwarfs like to pick on LPS and Clam Mantles from what I observed.

I have a regal angel and it isn't showing any interest.

All angels are a hit and miss. Feed them alot and it MIGHT help.

It seems as though every one reading this post is missing the point. I am looking for a "comfirmed" polyp muncher. I know that they are out there. Maybe some one with a softy or LPS tank that wanted to try one and found out they are picking at the corals.

Hey jjjimmy not to beat the dead horse or any thing but I have a softy tank with zoas and two confirmed sps pickers that are both my dwarf angels
Have you tried not feeding your Regal for a couple day he may get hungry and go for the more natural food

U want my Chrysurus, I was gonna put him in my 300 but he eats Chalises too and I collect them so thats out.
He eats Polyps lots of it,mushrooms, fleashy brains, aptasia,sponges, valonia algae,all sorts of macro algae, chalice.
SPS safe that I know for sure....................PEACE

My regal angel has been in the tank for 6 weeks and still has not taken one scrap pf prepared food that I feed daily. So if he hasn't taken to them by now, I do not think that he will.

Absolutely! Is there an evening that I can come to get him next week.

I only have 2 brain corals in my tank and I can relocate them to the sump for awhile.

Right now he's at the shop 72 display tank.I close at 7PM call me B4 U come, I will wait for ya.
