Does anybody recylce their water?

The cheapest place I know to get salt is drfostersmith and they want $43 for a 200 gallon box.If I was to do a 20% water change that would be 1200 gallons a month.Which is $264 a month and $3168 a year in salt.Would it be cheaper than that?What would be my cheaper option in the long run?I don't see a big problem paying $264 a month but I was wanting to get a black tip reef shark which would require a bigger tank.Which would require a whole lot more money a month on salt.

I do NOT mean to slam you, but if you're thinking about a shark pond for a black tip but you're worried about salt cost, you may be taking too big a bite.

Aquaria that big are not for the faint of heart.

I said buying salt for the 6k is not a big problem.But if you could save money some how wouldn't you?Just because I can afford to pay $264 a month doesn't mean I don't want it cheaper.If I could get the same result but spend less money I'm going to.

You might want to look at getting larger quantity discounts. For a 6,000 gallon tank you don't order retail on anything.
