Does anyone add vinegar to kalk?

Does anyone know where there is some info on adding vinegar to a kalk top-off resevoir to make it more potent?

Anyone do this?

yes, this is reccommended. also reccommened is a light dilution solution of hydrochloric acid, diluted to approx 10 to 1

It says how to dilute the Muriatic acid but not how much to add to top-off....any ideas?

you can use the kalk as straight top off, 100%. everything revolves around your system demand. i have wall to wall sps, waaay too many corals in my tank. its ridiculous. i manually dose calcium every day to keep up. if you have a few mushrooms, and a nepthea, you wont have a high load.

I have a 12 gallon kalk resevoir...so how much of the muriatic acid solution would I add to it?

I used to do it a year or 2 ago when I was dosing a lot of kalk. I always had pretty good results when doing it. I don't remember the exact values I used anymore.
