Does anyone feed their amphipods?

I have TONS of amphipods in my fuge, and I'm just wondering if I should feed them anything or do they just find whatever to eat? I've recently been throwing in a few small pieces of sinking fish food and it's hilarious to see them scamper for it and sometimes "fight" for the food. Some of the larger ones are 1 centimeter and I really enjoy watching them......... I'm just wondering how to keep my amphipod population healthy?

Pods will find food on their own. i wouldn't add any food specifically for them as that will just increase your nutrient level.

Do you have any fish? My pods were visible during the day until I bought fish. Now they hide during the day and come out at night.

Yeah, there are fish in the main tank, but I see the amphipods mainly in the refugium. I read that they eat film algae and things like that, but they seem to enjoy the few pieces of fish food that I throw in so much. I only throw in maybe 2-3 tiny pellets, nothing much.

Phytoplankton is great for them. Besides feeding them, it makes them more nutritious for the fish that eat them.
