i was also under the impression the club was doing good after the WMC. have their been that many speakers since then?

We have not bought a $3000 trailer. It has been discussed but has not been brought to a vote.

Our raffles each month turn a small profit.

The Christmas raffle is run at a financial loss, as we don't sell tickets to the Christmas raffle and buy dinner for everyone in attendance. I am still finalizing the results of the frag swap, I but I believe that we may have turned a small profit.

Speakers cost between $300 and $1000 dollars.

With 100 active members (in 2007) our membership cash intake is $2500 in roughly. Please see the cost of speakers above to see how quickly we go through those funds.

The last 2 speakers (January and February) were both on the higher end of the cost range.

I'm sure the club could spring for $10 grips, and if someone finds a good pair and a good price, I'll bring it up at the board meeting next Friday.

The WMC model is not a sustainable model for cash flow, in my personal opinion.
