Does anyone know what this is?

Can anyone tell me what this is? I noticed it in my tank a few months ago, and it has continued to grow. This is a zoomed in pic so people can actually see it, but it is only an inch to an inch and a half in size.

Which 'this' are you referring to? I see what could be a sponge, several varieties of algae, and some sort of tubeworm.

If it's the pinkish stuff in the middle of the picture, it's a sponge. Beneficial filter feeder.

That circular thing in the middle of the picture might be a Vermetid snail.
