Im trying to get my female a male. This is my third attempt. The first guy she loved a lot and took to him immediately without fighting, but he died in a powerhead incident. The 2nd attempt died from internal parasites and never got to see the female.

The third she chased around for a day, but they both don't want to be near each other really. The smaller one wants to do his own thing and the large female doesnt care where he is or what he does

Is this going to take time or is it possible they just dont want to be with each other? The smaller one is significantly smaller than the big female

she's trying to get his attention now by swimming away from her zoanthid rock, then swimming quickly back to it. i guess she's trying to show it where she hangs out, but he's clueless

Sound like shes telling him to come over here IMO.I would say thats a good sign.

i think the female got confused, she went sideways and shook while he swam by not caring. She isn't chasing it anymore, but anytime she wants to get close to the small one it thinks its about to get chased and swims away

ill see what they think in a couple months or so. hopefully they'll get together
