Does the tang need to go?

Suddenly my sailfin tang decides it want to get aggressive and act as if its his tank toward my pair of maroon's, who I believe will be laying eggs any day now.

The sailfin just started this a few days ago, about when the clowns started preping their "nest." The main issue is the tang is now taking a lot of the maroon's food, as well as trying to challenge the maroon and appearing the winner.
The tank is 120 gallons and the female maroon is approximately the same size as the tang.

I'm thinking about seperating them with an eggcrate.

any ideas?

I would leave them be for now.. You banging around in the tank with a net won't help any.

I figured as much.... but the tank decided that was his new home right next to the anemone; was taking food from the clowns; pesterin them; trying to poke her with its spine; and almost pulled a gun and shot her, thats when i said I have to do something.
I divided the tank in half with the tang on the other side of the clowns. A couple of swift strokes and caught.
It was actually quite successful b/c the maroons never flipped out as they have before.
