I actually saw an episode of Tanked where there were 3 separate acrylic tanks, each connected with 'pass throughs.' It was pretty cool even though it was significantly bigger than this.

That think looks like a piece of art vs a successful tank. Imagine the nightmare it would be to clean that thing..It looks super cool though. I'd like that full of African chiclids But I would pay someone to maintain it LOL..

There was a tank on here somewhere where someone connected 2 or 3 tanks with swim throughs. They're really cool. Definitely wouldn't want to clean that one, though LOL. You couldn't even get to the bottom 2 to clean them.

there's at least a couple of aquariums that I've seen online connected with swim through pipes into different rooms of a house. Nuts looking stuff!

That huge freshwater display at PetsPlus in Lockport has a couple of swim through..Never asked but its gotta be 1000 gallons total.

Forgetting about cleaning, it would be a real pain to keep oxygenated water throughout the whole thing. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it doesn't look like it is one loop.
