does this duncan look fine

Since I put the Duncan on the bed and cut the day lights back 2 hrs it looks more full I don't think I ever seen it's body inflate (kinda like an anonome does) like it is now. Maybe was to close to lights

I would say it looks a thousand times better. Are you feeding it with anything? I try to drop some mysis or squirt brine shrimp close to it with the pumps off. When I got mine it was only 3 heads and its well over 50 now.

I have some frozen rotorfers an marine cuzine in take a cube or both and mix it but I'm sure mysis would be better if had these left over from a nem in was unknownly getting into with when u first started and found out the hard way u wasn't suppose to get one with a brand new set up lol. And the lfs in got it from u don't think does a good job with them either in think they were called pink gondies they were cheap like 15 bucks so it wasn't a bank breaker but the poor nem didn't make it and it never found its footing even with the pumps off for a few poor thing was problem doomed from the min the store got it

How long would you say it took for it to at least double from when you got it mine has a new head starting when I got it and I busted one on the side from inexperienced handling (could explain a little maybe why it looks the way it does) so it's almost 4 heads. .. If your not sure how long it took to double how long did it take to get where it is now

Growth time will vary from tank to tank. There are so many variables that go into that. I've had mine for 3 yrs now. It's currently being kept by a friend of mine back in NJ until my next tank is up and running.

3 yrs to 50 . I'll be happy with 15-20 lol I'm loving my star polyps probably about 2"x4" so many to count I see why they just call them a colony

And my purple mushroom I picked up when I got the Duncan it has tripled in size

but I also let it be when I put it in the tank I never moved it I got lucky found the right spot for it.now the hammer and Duncan as I slowly added more rock they was in the way and needed moved. The hammer died though was great at first then a black sponge crab tore a head up(which I happy sold for 2 bucks store credit lol) that and needing to move it around the hammer didn't make it and well the Duncan was getting better lol it was much was looking now it's all most there
