Does this Elegance Coral will survive ECS?

I was afraid either the tank is too new or it contracted ECS. I wasn't hopeful.

A month after it looks like it survived. This is it now.

Now it survived after a month, is there still possibility of ECS showing months after? I've read incidents where their Elegance contracts ECS after 6 months. I've also read reports that ECS should immediately show within a week to 4 weeks.

It looks great to me. They can be problematic shippers, and depending on where/how collected often don't make it. I think your will be just fine.

Mine started out maybe 3" long x 1" wide. It's grown a bit... And it will periodically shrink down and look just horrible. I use it to let me know when to do a water change.

Thanks. That's what exactly I noticed with this Elegance. There were multiple instances where I said I am sure this is ECS and I was prepared to say goodbye. You have a great looking Elegance there.

Mine's still doing just fine, tyvm for asking. Right now it's just a little po'd with me because I did a round of chemiclean a couple weeks ago, but it is bouncing back quite well.

I'm really glad to hear that. I'm hoping to go buy 3 tomorrow. I want to set up an all elegance tank.
