Does this sump design seem ready to glue?

The baffles would be installed at a 90 degree angle - I just couldn't hold them and take the photo. IMG_1195.jpgIMG_1193.jpgIMG_1192.jpgIMG_1191.jpg

I'm concerned about the height of the inlets in the baffle with them at the top - I think it looks too high to have the water that high and have room for the DT to drain into the sump.

The way you have them, the skimmer area will fill tot he same level as the center section. Although that isn't necessarily a bad thing, you'll need to make a platform to set the skimmer on. Most seem to work best in +/- 8" or so.

I think you are underestimating the amount of back flow from the DT, and will have very little room for error with them as high as they appear to be. I would suggest aiming for the sump to be ~ 1/2 full while in operation.

Thank you. Could I simply cut the bottoms of the baffles to make them shorter?
