so whats the deal with these guys, are they going to eat at all my corals and destroy my cleanup crew. Basically an ideal situation would be he didnt eat my smaller pair of true percs, didnt touch my corals, and only ate my coral banded shrimp cause hes a jerk. My 2 cleaner shrimp are rather large and I think he may just let them clean over him instead of him snacking. Am I crazy to think about putting him in my tank?

They are not reef safe from my past experiences....

I think it will eat any shrimp weather big or small, not sure about the fish, but I had a really small one for about 5 minutes in a tank with some softies until it ate them and he went to a new home.

I had one in my 90gallon mixed reef for 2+ years, he didnt eat my coral banded and he didnt touch a single soft coral or LPS. He loved SPS. I had another one in my 180 mixed reef with the same results.

maybe ill give it a try. duncans and elegance are the only real high priced corals i love. red sea lobos and scoly im not so worried about. only softies i have are a few ricordia and a TON of xenia all on one side.
