dogface vs dottyback

Ha now that I got your attention with the dottyback, it is a green wolf eel that I'm dealing with.

I've seen it twice now. My puffer will be swimming along lazily, happen to go past the eel lair, then the eel will come out and ever so gently grab the buffer around its belly. Hasn't taken a bite, left no marks, and the puffers seems oblivious to it and just swims away like normal. Hasn't puffer at all either. Is this cause for concern?

Isn't it actually a blenny?

My fire clown used to aggressively bite and dive bomb my dogface anytime he was on her side of the tank. Same thing never any marks or open wounds. He would just tuck his tail and swim away. I wouldn't worry unless it starts leaving open wounds

I was thinking dottyback, but you are probably right on blenny. Hate it when I goof up names like that.
