Yep, the japanese haven't learned to stop killing whales either. Such a shame.

Its really horrible things such as these happen. Not that I am condoning it, but some cultural differences must be understood. To the Japanese all the dolphins and baleen whales are not really related to us they are just fish and thus they see no problem killing them. To us it seems horrifying because we have accepted the dolphins and whales to be close relatives to us and understand that some of them are capable of higher thinking and acts that seem human. However, even with this cultural differences acts such as these must be stopped. Whether we think of them as cruel or not they are devastating to the ocean since these animals are key predators. Just another piece of info, inuits kill whales, seals and sea lions too and they are allowed to do it because our government is too f***ing PC and wont put a stop to it.
