Domino clowns and bubble anemone

I have had a pair of domino clowns for at least 8 months now and they spend all of their time in the top corner of the tank and have never even paid attention to the bubble anemone.

Is it common for the tank bred, hybrid clowns to be so uninterested in anemones and simply swim in one spot 99% of the time? Just curious.

I have heard that from a lot of people, so I am gonna give up hope on these guys being active members of the aquarium.

My ocellaris (tank raised I believe) took a year before they went in the anemone. When I replaced the male, the female showed the new one the anemone (although she takes up the whole thing at night).

Bubble tip anemones are not a natural host for ocelaris clownfish. Which is why they don't always take to them. Get a natural host anemone and you are more likely to be successful. With that being said my true perc pair live in my rose bubble tip and it is not a natural host. Seems to be a roll of the dice
