Please let us know who took frags of the pulsing xenia last night.

I did, who else?

If you want any of this coral, please add your name to this list.

Paul.

I took a frag of the "long stem" pulsing xenia.

I also donated 5 frags of the short stem "pompom" pulsing Xenia.

I will be glad to bring more frags of both in the near future.

Thanks,

Steve

Hello all:

I believe April got some also, and a few people Im not familliar with yet. sorry guys, Im bad with names.

Dale and Cathy

I got one frag of long tentacle, one of pompom, and a green star polyp. All are doing great so far. The long tentacle was in rough shape at first but is bouncing back real nice. The water it was in got pretty foul due to the freshly broken rock and about half of the tentacles had turned yellow but all the heads are pulsing and the yellow is going away, so i think it's gonna be fine.

I got 2 pieces of the long tentacle stuff from Dale. One is in the reef tank, and not looking real good. Seems to be pretty yellow and flat. The other is in the seahorse tank and seems to be coming along OK, it's mostly pink and upright. Not pulsing alot yet.

I got a frag of the long from Dale also and it is doing fine. Dale, the frag of kenya was doing great but when I checked on it when I got home, it was gone! I have a feeling my busy body sailfin had something to do with it. He's bad about being all over any thing I'm fooling with. I've looked everywhere that I can get to but it must be down in there or in the back. Will it still live if its down in the shadows? It was all perky and standing so pretty.:mixed: Pamela

The people who recieved some of Dales Long tentacle Xenia were

Paul, Steve,April,Tom,Pamela

Anyone want to sign up for daughters of this? Mine is growing well, and may be near splitting.

I already fragged off my piece and gave it to the new guy Prater brought to the Jan meeting. (Sorry Steve, I can't remember his name. I'm awful with names. Forgive me.) The original piece is going gangbusters, and could probably be fragged again for the May meeting.

April,
You gave the long tentacle frag to me. I don't
know how to tell when they are ready to frag
do you just put small rocks around them and
let them grow on to them?

Chuck E.

To obtain frags from the donor program, you need to join COMAS. The yearly fees are $25.

If you need more details, PM me.

I lost 5 pieces of Xenia in a heater accident this past summer. I am joining sat. and would love some new xenias. Joseph

Adam,

I will see what I can do. Im not promising to have a frag for you, but will try for the meeting.
