Don't underestimate what your Euphyllia can do to your Anemone

When I found out my red haddoni is actually afraid of the nearby frogspawn because it wouldn't expand too close to it, I thought I can use keep the frogspawn there without it being fried by the anemone.

But the haddoni is growing and so does the frogspawn. I came home one day and saw the edge of the haddoni is a little damaged so I knew I had to move the frogspawn.
I didn't want to get my hand wet so I used the underwater thong and picked up the frogspawn. The grip slipped and the frogspawn landed right on the haddoni. I took the coral out right away and I'm really really surprised of how much damaged it caused just by that 3 second of contact.
Damage doesn't seem to be that bad but a closer look and the tentacles seems to be melted already.

Frogspawn moved up but I think I really have to move it somewhere else. The only thing is, I don't have a good place for it. The other side of the tank received way too much flow for the frogspawn.

You used a thong to pick up your frogspwan? Now that had to be a sight to see. I didnt know silk and lace could do that. Sorry I just couldnt help myself on that one. But first hand I havnt seen it but few months ago someone posted something about where one fell on their nem and it killed it overnight or something like that. But I hope that your haddoni has a speedy recovery.

:)
Bamm! Taken just a minute ago. You can see the damaged tentacles.

this is making me strongly consider moving my huge hammer coral thats above my green haddoni. but idk where i could move the whole colony to.. =/

Lol, I see plenty of place to move that hammer colony to. For example, right in the right of the tank below those zoas(?). That would be a great center piece.
I think your green haddoni would be toast if that colony ever fall on top of it.

lol ya dont ask my why my zoa's are up so high they take prime SPS real estate :( haha.. i put em there when i first started out and they attached to the rock and grew.. haha wish i put em lower, but..

perhaps i will move the colony there.. i been meaning to move it due to the fact that the powerhead blasts the top few heads and they dont really open at all =/

so earlier today i moved the hammer colony.. haha.. and it broke in half! =O :*( ...
i was trying to place it, and the broken half FELL! on my fuzzy mushroom, not the haddoni though thank god.. :P then i had to rush out the door to a 4th of july party, just got back fuzzy mushroom doesnt look too happy, but itll be fine..
now tomarrow i gotta figure out how to place these 2 colonies so they look good :P

i also learned.. dont do a small (i literally thought moving it woulda taken 2 seconds) project right as your about to walk out the door for a 4th of july party/bbq.. haha cause it ended up turning into a 15 minute thing haha
