Doral Aquarium and Reptile

I can't believe they opened a store 8 blocks from where I work. Very convenient. Stopped in for the first time yesterday, here are some impressions:
- Relatively small marine aquarium section. The store is a bit more oriented towards reptiles. Man, they had a LOT of snakes.
- What they do have is very clean and well maintained.
- Three tanks of corals, loosely organized into a shroom/ricordia tank, softies, stonies/mix.
- Good selection of ricordias for $10 each.
- I picked up a really nice electric green mottled mushroom.
- Not a lot of fish vareity or shrimp were available the day I went, though they were expecting their shipment later that day.
- Owner was very nice and helpful. Might be worthwhile approaching him about FMAS relationship.

they are already on the roster, they do have some cool rics for 10 bucks each you can't pas em up. I got a really nice pink and blue w/ like 7 mouths. for ten bucks you can't beat it.

btw if you are into snakes check them out, awesome selection of snakes albino boas and and great selection of colubrids. all the snakes you can ask for and decent prices.

they get there corals on wednesdays, last time i went though they didn't have much on thursday.

i agree. i found them when they just opened and its a bunch of young guys but they know alo about what they sell and also they are all nice. ad dont forget to check out the cigar shop next to them. i think they own that to. cuz i always see them comein in and out of that place everytime i go. but anyway they have good cigars thier and wine to.

Just got back small hammer $25 large hammer same price picked 7" green hammer only $25 I've seen this before a new store opens up has low prices I don't know if it will last. I'll be back.

man o man... i just went by today... they had just gotten some fish in, idk if any of the corals were new but they werent floating...


i grabbed 2 orange rics for 9.63... because they were attached to each other he considered it 1 polyp which is normally 10 but when i mentioned reef central and FMAS he gave me 10% off... so idk if they are an official sponsor yet, but i def. got a good deal there today.. ill be going back to check their ricordia collection regularly.

Were you there about 4:445PM? I saw a guy getting some rics while I was there. If that was you, I was the guy in the khaki uniform.

The store is decent, not a lot of fish, about average number of corals, but helpful staff and good prices overall.
The ricordia is probably their best deal.
