Dosing cupramine

This is my first fish with ich. The break out started while the fish was in quarantine. My DT is safe. Thanks to everyone recommending a quarantine period for new fish. I am just not sure how to dose cupramine and keep up with water changes. I have 20 gallon QT and I have been changing out 4 gallons of water every three days. Any recommendations?

I would use the Tank Transfer Method (TTM) instead. Regardless of the species, TTM will work, and without toxic chemicals. Yes, copper is toxic to marine fish. Some are more suseptable than others, but because the dose needed to kill the Ich parasite is so close to the lethal level for most fish, it is far from the best choice.

What he said. Tank Transfer is described here.
