I am a non practicing beekeeper & can tell you the sugar in honey is fructose- the same as sugar. Since it is produced in the worker bees' digestive systems it contains many other compounds like enzymes etc. It would be hard for hobbyists to determine or confirm the possible beneficial effects of these compounds with just observation alone in a saltwater aquarium.
i think it was hugo who had the amazing tank and was dosing honey… or experimenting with it.
I asked him if his no3 was really 50 ppm and he corrected himself.. like Dukester said, his no3 was closer to 5 ppm
