dosing pump getting clogged need help

well I have trouble keeping a stable reef tank due to no luck I believe in past new tank...
calcium reactor always giving me issues so I went back to dosing with a bubble magus pump

I was stable for 6 weeks then drop in Alk because I just saw the hose pop off the pump because the line is clogged solid..... any ideas so it don't happen again?

Check it often and keep it clean

Do a search on calcium reactor pump here.
Can't remember what it was they were using to get a constant flow from them.

I was told by anthony that they have an alarm if this happens
Anyone own one with instruction book that I lost

the best way to keep it from clogging is to increase the flow...dilute the mixture with water, but increase the dosing rate to get the same amount ..it's less likely to clog with less concentration and flow....been doing this with the effluent rate from my reactor for years and never had a clog...also what Larry wrote..check it often and keep it clean
