dosing pump

so i am thinking of going to a dosing pump for ca, alk supplements. is there anyone better than another, i am looking at the Innovative Aquatics Sentry Dosing Pump any personal feedback is much welcome. haven't used dosing pumps in the past for ca/alk supplement and don't want to go back to a ca reactor. thanks, sean.

I have seen them for sale for years, but am not familiar with the Innovative doser. If you have a controller, such as an Apex, than I (and many others from posts you'll find) would recommend the dosers from bulk reef supply - BRS. I have two. They are not programable without a controller/timers, merely on/off. Popular for those with Apex or Reefkeeper type controllers. If you need one with a built in controller/timer, and are looking to dose two-part items, than you may also want to look at Aqua Medic Reefdoser Dosing Pump which is also available in 2 or 3 doser units.

Sean bubble magus t01 are cheap and works very well.

I have the bubble Magnus. It works perfectly. Plus, you can program it to split your dose over 12 periods in on day. I like that because slow and steady wins the race. Also you can control when the different chemicals are dosed so you don't get a bad reaction between calc and alk. I use it with the brs kit.

Hello, I have the GHL Profilux doser. Three things i like about it:
1. I like that you can tell it how much to dose/ how many times a day and it will calculate and dispense the amount needed.
2. I like that even when I cut the power to it for 3 days, all my settings and memory was still in tact.
3. it has a prime button for each pump that will manually dispense and ready anything supplied.

Some brs dosers on a rkl have yet to fail me. Have kept my parameters rock solid after almost a year of use. Can't complain and it was relatively cheap since I got the dosers used. If you're lucky, you might find a deal in the selling forum

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Guess I'm torn between BM or Profilux. Both have their good points. For those with BM, did u get the containers too or go straight from the two part bottles?
