I am in the market for a dosing pump i just can't keep up with the additives I'm using it would make my life a lot easier I am looking at some input on what brand to get of course my cheapa*s ,eels looking at the jabeo doner because of price I need some input on what are reliable and work well and are user friendly

I used the BRS dosers for years without any problems, both the 1.1mL/min. for alk and Ca, and the 50mL/min. for kalk.

I had a Marine Magic 3 channel doser that I could never get dialed in and was a true PIA to program.

I switched to BRS dosing pumps a couple years ago and love them. They are very consistent and as easy to program as any digital lamp timer (which is what you'll use for them)

Dosing pump

Eshopps makes a great doser that costs the same as two brs dosers and the timers you would need for them. Reliable company good reviews of the doser and its expandable from the two head master up to 8 total dosing heads.

Persoanly I will not buy anything Jaebo. Their cheaply made and all of their products crap out way to fast for this hobby. You end up paying more for the stuff in the long run with their junk.

** edit.
Buy the eahopps master IV 200 doser on Amazon it's between 175 and 200. It's almost 300 in the stores and on the eshopps main site.

I'm also getting to the point where I'm in the market for some dosing pumps. I like the BRS dosing pumps. After doing a lot of research on different pumps those are the ones I have decided to go with. I like that you can just control them with a dual timer. Easy and done. And if one breaks you don't have to replace the whole system. Plus, they have really good reviews.

I use GHL doser 2 I use it for water changes and ATO and Balling. Have a doser and one slave with another slave on the way.:) I like to make my life simple.:)

Look at http://www.reefdosingpumps.com/

They sell medical grade dosers. They sell new for $350, remanufactured units for $175 and if you watch ebay they occasionally sell one as a buy it now/make an offer, or as a true auction. I have 3 of them (all remanufactured), one on my 450g system (sps & lps reef), one on my 200g system (shallow reef & frag tank) and one sitting on the shelf as a back up. And it has been sitting there for 3 years now. I paid $175 for the first one, the 2nd was an auction and I got it for $91 and the 3rd was a 'make an offer' buy and I paid $129.
