dosing unit limitation

Dose anyone know if the dosing unit would be able to pump water from a distance of 24 feet (14 horizontal and 10 up)??

I would like to leave my ATO water in the basement and have the pump upstairs next to the computer.

Todd had one working with i think 20 feet of head so i will not put my name on it but see no reason why not however I would employ an anti syphon valve

what kind of tubing would you recomend.. ive been using pumps for some time and i always have air buble inside the tubing. maybe i use wrong size?

Actually I did it through 25' of tubing @ 2' of head. It performed without a hitch, I don't doubt it could push 10' vertical.

Black neoprene tubing from Aquatic Eco systems is what I use. Heavy duty and also protects my precious trace elements from degradation due to light!
