I was looking for add a red headed dottyback P. Elongatus to a 75g tank with a yellow coris, fiji damselfish, midas blenny, pair of clownfish and a tomini tang. I was wondering if this addition could work or if a sixline or fourline wrasse would work. Thank you for your reponses.

I haven't kept an elongotus but have kept the P. porphyreus with a six line in a 75g with no problems & later a P. Dutoiti with the six line. Both cases they ignored each other.

If you put the yellow coris in first I would think you should be fine.

I had a Sunrise Dottyback in my 125g with my established 6-line and the dotty was a royal pain in the rump. Super agressive to the 6-line so out she went. That was no fun either I tell ya!

I have a dottyback, 6 line, yellow coris and two tone wrasse in my 180g sps and no problems. My 6 line has been very well behaved. These fish have been together for about a year.

I was thinking of adding either the dottyback, sixline, or fourline with the yellow coris. I was thinking the size if the coris 3.5 to 4 inches would keep aggression under control.

I'd add the dotty. Sixlines and forlines are more aggressive in my opinion or temperamental at least. My Springers dotty is much more peaceful and i know it depends on species but those wrasses have a bit of a reputation.
I added a iridis wrasse later and there were minor squabbles as they were similar size but nothing more than fin flaring. With the wrasse already in you have it much easier, it's the ideal way to do it.
