Double-dots on glass: mystery eggs

Back in the hobby after being away for years, I have mystery I never solved in my old tank that I've encountered again with the new.

Double dots. They appear on the aquarium glass, usually where it's still a bit dirty. Far too small to photograph, but very distinctly always pairs of white dots, and often one is slightly darker than the other. They might flutter a bit with the water, but otherwise they don't move.

They are almost certainly eggs of some kind, but I just haven't been able to figure out whose. Copepod eggs are, as I understand it, too small to see (though I can see the pods themselves on the glass). I can't find any good pictures of what iso/amphi eggs would look like on aquarium glass.

I'm not worried about these or much of anything else, just really enjoy knowing what's what.

My tank is a 28gal with about 20 pounds of live rock so far (where any potential hitchhikers are from). Plenty of the usual hitchiker life (mini-brittles, collonista snails, etc.) but none that I know lay eggs like this.
