My tank is a 50g Fluval. Standard 3ft 50g size. Silver bracing around complete tank.

The drains in the pic were sealed. Its sumpless, using Tunze in tank filtration. Currently running a ReefPack 505 but have the new Tunze 9012 skimmer on the way. Plus will add the Comline 3162 filter.

Lighting is a pair of Evergrow IT2012 controllable full spectrum led. I previously had the larger 2080 fixture but sold it and went to ATI t-5s. Was not a fan so went back to this pair and very happy with colours and growth.

This coral, which I sold, was grown under the even cheaper Evergrow D120 with just blue/whites.

Control is from a full gold Apex controller.

I run a pair of Vortech MP 40,s and a pair of Jebao rw 8,s for current.

My main tank stars are my 14y old pair of mated percs.

Also a yellow corps wrasse, leopard wrasse, paired blue chromis, a blue eyed cardinal that thinks he,s a chromis, a very large bangaii cardinal, yellow prawn goby, 4 yr. old mandarin. Quarantine running and waiting for a small young Pearlscale butterfly.
Large variety of shrimps, snails both under and over the sandbed, and all sorts of hard working crabs & thingys

C'mon Doug, FTS!! :)

Not the best at that but will see what I can do. :)

nice. what intensity, photo period, optics do you run with the evergrows?

Not running a ramp up & down program yet. Still do it manually. Runs the blues got a couple hrs before & after. Set at 85%. Its the cloudy setting.

My sunny is now at 100% blues & 65% whites, greens and violets. I have spent several months ramping up to this point.

Nice shots. :)

BTW, better have your temp probe plugged into the PM2 for TC factor( Temperature Compensation ). :spin3:

Plus I have to wait until I take all the extra "white" rock out. I have a bunch of it in there seasoning for my quarantine and a couple large sponge filters.

Never knew that. Learn something new everyday. So would it then read different? Whats it compensating for? I was reading about it but don't really see much benefit.
Thanks

My new Tunze 9012 skimmer has arrived. Design is based on the 9004 I guess but larger. Plus a new needle wheel pump.

Rubber spacer mounts for magnets. Vibration reducer.

What is the name of the coral in The pic directly under the cleaner shrimps pic? My friend gave me a frag and I don't know what it's called.
