when trying to downloads pictures from photobucket to reef central, it just through as a download and not a picture, what the heck am I doing wrong? im going from the picture, and copying and pasting in the post, what am I missing?

You need the specific photo URL, which will end in .JPG

Then post it in the proper language, which will look like this prior to posting (you will have to enter it WITHOUT the hyphens)

[-IMG-]http://www.photobucket.com/alotofmesstoidentifyyourphoto.jpg[/-IMG-]

and then it will show up. IF your photo URL is right.

Three ways to do so:

1. Type it in as toothybugs suggests
2. Copy the image's url from Photobucket including the IMG tags and then paste that into your post.
3. Use the little post card icon that says "Insert Image" when you hover over it. It will wrap your image's url in the IMG tags that are necessary to cause the image to appear in your post.
