Downsizing I just don't get it

I just don't get it why I actually think my bigger tank 180 costs less to run then any of the smaller tanks I could see downsizing lighting maybe a few unnecessary pumps but maintenance wise I don't see a cost difference.
Besides it's not like I am making payments with interest on my tank I would get rid of a vehicle or other vice first I quit chewing it cost 5.00 a day but my fish tank is my sanity. It lowers my blood pressure and saves me money on meds for this. I really think I would let the wife go before my tank.:eek1:wildone:
just my 2 cents just tired of people saying it's the economy he'll I have been layed off since march but I come up with ways to survive and go to school fulltime guess

More salt, more fish food, more electricity, more calcium supplementation, more MH bulbs.
It all costs money.
Smaller tank = less costs.
Of course who am I to talk, I have two display tanks.
I know what the costs are.

I guess I dont do very many water changes I spill enough or overflow it to the floor LOL but I guess I just really enjoy my tank I just think it would be the last thing I would give up as for price wise my mh with the icecaps barely change the electric bill running 2 400 and a 250. its not like you have to buy fish every month. Oh well I guess I guess my tank is a higher priority in my life. Maybe I would go without in other areas before my tank suffered.I have found I do watch a little more when I buy stuff I am not as risky as I used to be.
I am up to 26 anenomes 16 bubbles I just hope they keep splitting I want it packed full.
