What are some other high quality foods people feed?

Maybe someone has a good recipe?

I mix stuff in a blender. Shrimp, clams, nori, garlic ( i puree it first) . Some salmon or tuna sometimes. Blend good and fill up an ice cube tray

The only medicated one I've used is the Bacterial for my emperor. It worked fantastically.

I'm always looking for quality marine food that has all natural ingredients that can be found in the fishes environment. Can anyone tell me why companies do add peas and other things to the food? I mean, where are the fish going to get a pea in the ocean? Not that I'm agreeing with the above conversation about peas......

When diving in hawaii we always bought frozen peas to feed the fish. They would come in swarms in the millions and devour the peas like they were hungry blood thirsty sharks!! I would say they love them just from observing them like that and im sure they are healthy or no one would add them to their foods.

Just like rods has carrot and broccoli, thats not in the ocean either, good for the fish though

Is the herbivore food chunky or more like formula 2 and just disinigrates in your tank?

If it's anything like the medicated food it is kind of a mixture of both.. Some pieces disintegrate and others are chunks.

It looks like the Piscine Mysis has a much higher protein level. I started with Piscine Mysis and forgot it existed. I bought both now and will feed a mixture of both those mysis, krill, and Spirulina. Any other suggestions? BTW, this is targeted for my Scribbled and True Personifer.

I used to be one of those multiple food feeders until I came across RRF-- so far nothing else goes into my tank--- no mess and food stays intact in the sold mesh.

Funny you say that. I ran into one of my co-workers at my LFS as he is into SWF as well and he pulled out RRF and said it is great... I just don't like the binders. and why is there Aloe Vera in it?

They can be used for whatever will eat them. Fish, Corals, Inverts, etc. All will be fine with them.
