Dracula goby

I have a Dracula Goby and it looks like it is sick again with the same disease that all other dracula gobies that I had before.It stops eating and can't swim until it dies. Please help cause I cannot stand looking at another one die.I love the fish but it looks like I can only keep it alive in my tank 3 months max.

I buy three dracula last year and they all die . I find that there is some bloodstain in their mouth. I think it should be keep in lower temperature tank. So I buy two dracula last week and put them in a lower temperature tank. The tank is 26 C (26 degree). But today there is some bloodstain in one dracula again!!! I don't know why? Should it be die again? If some friends live in Maldives,please tell me the water condition of Maldives. Many many thanks!

The maldives when I was diving there had water temperatures ranging from 78F to 82F. You will have to convert to Centigrade :spin2:

How was the fish conditioned for your tank? How acclimated?

78 F equals 25.6 C and 82 F equals 27.8 C but I cannot say whether that is appropriate to the dracula goby since I have not owned one.

Could you tell me the Salinity of Waters in Maldives? My Tank is 1.022. (Though I think it is good for goby.) Thank you!

S.G as I recall (I don't normally pay attention to this unless it is so abnormal that it would affect my weighting for diving) was 1.026

My tank S.G is 1.023. I think marinefish is not so sensitive to S.G.Some bad news,Today,another dracula goby stop eat. It breath largely all day. My Tank's length is 80cm,width is 60 and high is 55.The fish is one rayal Grammar
,one shrimp goby and one cleaner shrimp. So no any fish could aggressive to dracula goby. I really don't know how to keep them in my tank :reading:
