Dragon Pipefish

What is the normal procedures for deworming a pipefish using Prazipro?
I have a 10gal. with a small live rock and an aqua clear filter without the carbon.

A complete deworming regiment would be the 9 week process below:

1) FENBENDAZOLE (Panacur)
One day each week, feed two meals of adult brine shrimp gut-loaded with Fenbendazole to the Pipefish. Repeat for a total of 3 weeks.

2)METRONIDAZOLE (Metro+, Metro-Pro)
One day each week, feed two meals of adult brine shrimp gut-loaded with Metronidazole to the Pipefish. Repeat for a total of 3 weeks.

3) PRAZIQUANTEL (PraziPro)
One day each week, feed two meals of adult brine shrimp gut-loaded with Praziquantel to the Pipefish. Repeat for a total of 3 weeks.

You can do the meds in any order. I prefer to use the panacur first since it is the one that can have the most impact on biological filtration.... Sometimes, 9 weeks can be a long time to keep up on the water changes in a QT tank. And although I don't recommend it, I have done this with dwarf seahorses and put them in their DT for the
2nd two meds....

Now I do the meds everyday or only 1 day per week?

You do the meds one day of each of the 3 weeks for that particular med.

And on that day, you feed 2 times with the gutloaded brine.

Make sense? I know it can be confusing....

So if I start on Mon. then I only feed 2 times a day with gut loaded brine shrimp. Then the next 2 Monday same way. Then start new med on the 4th Monday same way.

I just reread your post and it could be interpreted two ways so here is an out line. Hopefully this makes more sense

First med:

week one: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

week two: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

Week three: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal


Second Med:
week four: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

week five: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

Week six: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

Third Med:
week seven: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

week eight: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal

Week nine: Monday, 2 times today, feed brine which has been gutloaded with meds
Tuesday-Sunday feed as normal
