dragon placement

Not all 'dragons' have the same requirements. What color is it as I also have not heard of that one, however it really depends on what the coral was used to before you got it. Was it from a store or another reefer? Many of the smooth skin corals that are often referred to as 'deep water' sometimes aren't - or rather they are collected from a depth that could hardly be considered as deep. That said, knowing the depth it was collected from would give a better indication of placement in your reef. Example - acropora carduus is generally collected from "deep water" yet acropora turaki according to Veron's corals of the world is found in shallow environments. These are both generally tagged as 'deep water' but things vary greatly depending where in the reef they are gathered. There is a big difference as far as lighting goes between 15 feet deep and 40 feet yet neither are really great depths for corals to grow in but the lighting spectrums between the two are significant. Long story short, or in this case long story long - I would play it safe and start it low and gradually move it up in your tank until you find it's happy place.

I finally found where it came from. If you guys wanna see it go to reeffarmers.com an find look for mr pacman acropora its very unique. Thanks for the help guys
