My Dragon Wrass is acting suspiciously like he's going to croak. I tested the water and the KH was down a little so I treated with buffer. I checked for amonia, nitrates which were 0% as well. All my coral are ok and my Lawnmower Blenny is normal. The Wrass is acting as if it cant get enough Oxygen. One gill is puffed out and he is acting week. I fed him today and he ate well, but he will go to the bottom an lie there for a few moments, then start swimming again. I noticed he started acting funny yesterday. Anyone with any sugestions please help. I fed some chopped up whitesides and brine shrimp. he ate both.

If it is flukes dont wait to long before you treat. A fresh water dip will get some of the flukes off. Prazipro treatment should take care of the rest. Good luck.

Is Prazipro ok for reek tanks or should I treat in a hospitol tank. I did use some API general cure in a dip today. I cant fine the Prazipro anywhere. I here mixed reasoning to using it and not using it in the reef tanks. I did a dip for about an hour in the same tank water with a tripple dose of the Meds.

I just finished a treatment in my DT a reef as well. Everything was fine. The only thing I hear that it will kill are ornamental worms which I have none. The flukes could have laid eggs in your DT. If you want treat in hospital tank and if they come back then treat in the DT. Hope this helps. Good luck.
