i keep reading that frozen brine shrimp lacks nutritional value. my angels in QT eats mysis fine, should i not feed brine shrimp at all then? i have a small pack of it, so i've been using it here and there.
It is true that brine shrimp doesn't have the nutritional value like mysis, but I still do feed both. Its not going to kill the fish if you incorporate it into their diet once in a while.
Well, frozen enriched brine has nutritional value; however I rarely feed it. Also, if you are feeding live brine, you can gut load them with nutritional supplementation or in some cases medication. Mysis can be nutritionally supplemented with Vitality or some other supplement such as Selcon.
I feed spiralina enriched brine shrimp along with PE and mini mysis soaked in Zoe. Like mentioned above brine shrimp are only as good as what is in there stomachs.

any thoughts on frozen bloodworms?? should i be feeding my emperor(juvie) and blueface in QT this? just trying out all the food it would eat. it definitely likes the bloodworms, but not touching pellets..
i've searched bloodworms and didnt find much about it.

You can incorporate the brine once in awhile to get rid of it. If it's frozen regular stuff then soaking with selcon or garlic as mentioned is a good thing. I have a whole thing of Sally's to get rid of
