Drill or not?

There's an orange sticker in bottom of my new tank that says tempered do not drill. Does this mean the whole tank or just the bottom?

Most likely just the bottom ... Um you can drill the Back end I believe .... If there is a Serial Number and the Date it was made .. you can call the manifacturer and they will tell you weather or not the whole tank is Tempered or not ... and which part of the tank to Drill .... I agree with darlene,it should be safe to drill the back.

Yeah, kinda what I was thinking also. It does a manufacture date, but I'm not sure who the manufacturer is. Thanks for the replies.

I just got my 55 drilled only the bottom tempered

my 125 said the same thing and we were able to drill the back

Well, there are two ways to find out...1st, drill and hope for the best...2nd, call the mfg and ask. I say go for it, its always more fun when its someone else's cash on the line ; )

Well ryan lol if anything just drill the back end of the tank .. and pray no crack lol
