Drilling a GEO Calcium Reactor

I purchased an older GEO 624 CA reactor from a member a while ago and am just starting to get it up and running. The lid does not have a PH port. Is it possible to drill the lid and install one? Anyone have any tips or tricks?

Since it's just the lid, maybe send it back to GEO to have him drill it out so that you know it's done right?

Just drill and tap it yourself....super easy. Harbor Freight has the kits for under $20. Then buy the fitting that holds the PH probe, I forgot what that's called.
