drilling tank

i know this subject has been beaten to death, but i am in the process of setting up my 65g (36x18x24). i want to drill the tank but im not too sure if its tempered. it does have the "do not drill" sticker on the bottom of the tank. it also has another sticker on the side near top of the trim and says " built in 2006 by M.C" (whos m.c.?)

can anyone confirm that the back of the tank isnt tempered?

I'm not positive about the tempering, but M.C. is the individual who actually "built" the tank.

call the manufacturer. They will know.

The bottom would be tempered for sure. Any glass shop can tell you if the sides are tempered.

unfortunately i dont know who manufactered this tank. i bought it on craigslist.

Take a hammer and hit it. If it breaks into a million pieces, its tempered.
