Sk8r i completely agree with everything that you have stated and i do usually temp acclimate my lfs bought fish and drip them as i have always had great success in doing so . that being said if i get a shipped fish they only get a temp acclimation and because of my size of tank system i cannot adjust the salinity but i have had much better results in not dripping the shipped fish . i must add that 99% of my fish are very delicate wrasses and they do much better without dripping IMO.i always used to drip shipped fish and had much less success .
