drip, drip, drip...ugh...make it stop

So after a day or so of perfectly dry plumbing I've developed a leak at the threaded joint of the bulkhead and threaded/slip adapter for the return line. How in the heck do I fix this without cutting it apart and redoing it?

I've tried using pvc glue...didn't work.
I've tried wrapping the outside with tape...didn't work.
I've tried gooping the thing in silicone...guess what...still drip, drip, drips.

Do I try the sliicone again? What about using the underwater epoxy that we use for the corals?

Ugh...told you that I hated plumbing!

IMO I would cut it out... literally, save yourself the headache later. Cut it out, redo it and ensure yourself it wont happen again. :)
